Expertise & Credentials

ADHD Coaching Certification

I am an ADHD Coac, having trained with the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) which is accredited by the International Coaching Federation and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches.

Specialist Level 5 Dyslexia Certification

I trained at the Hornsby International Dyslexia Centre, now merged with Dyslexia Action.  I tutor using a sequential, structured multi-sensory approach based on the Orton Gillingham  method.

ADHD Family Coaching Certification

Specific ADHD Coach training focused on strengthening skills and strategies to meet the diverse needs of families. To make meaningful progress,  parents often need the support of a well-trained ADHD coach with a deep understanding of the ways ADHD affects family life.

Sara-Jane  has  been a rock,  mentor and  guiding presence for Rosie and  I  over  the  last  4 years. Her  steadfast belief in my  daughter has been a key factor in Rosie developing resilience, drive and grit.  Without doubt, it is Sara-Jane's constant reassurance, encouragement and support  both professionally and personally that has helped Rosie develop into the successful student she is today.  I can't adequately express the appreciation and gratitude I have for everything she has done for Rosie.

Sara-Jane helped to transform our daughters school experience.  Having spent 3 yrs to GCSE being told our daughter chatted too much, was distracting, needed to work harder, concentrate etc, we met SJ.  She recognised very quickly that ADD may be at the root of this.  She was assessed and the diagnosis confirmed.

Most importantly what a difference it made for our daughter….With the help of weekly coaching from SJ and the right medication, she started to turn a corner.  This was most apparent at a parents evening when we came away having heard about a young person who was engaged, working hard and expecting to achieve grades she and we had never expected.  Her self-esteem grew, and her horizons expanded.  Thank you so much SJ, we all owe you a lot.

I know that *** wants to continue her sessions beyond actually starting at university. It is testament to how much she values your role that she wants your guidance and support at that crucial time. You have truly given our daughter hope, self belief and a vision for her future that she had thought was impossible. Life, for her, with combined ADHD is tough but your advice and understanding give her strength and confidence. As her mum, I can never thank you enough

What Families Say

"When my wife and I first met SJ we were at a loss as how to plot the best way forward for our daughter, whose performance was attracting many negative comments from her teachers.

SJ suggested a possible cause and how we might find a solution. Following her advice subsequently meant that our daughter left school with A level grades that once we could have only dreamt of.

SJ supported us throughout the whole process, patiently and clearly explaining the issues as they arose and supporting us as a family from start to finish.

I cannot recommend SJ highly enough."

Archie was diagnosed with significant dyslexia in Year 3. For years he struggled with education. Sara-Jane has been brilliant and has transformed Archie's ability to succeed in the classroom. She quickly engaged him, gaining his trust, encouraging and stimulating him. He finds his lessons both fun and challenging and was even enthused enough to continue them during the holidays so avoiding regression.

Sara-Jane’s communication with myself as a parent and with Archie's school teachers has been excellent. There has always been timely feedback following assessments and quick responses to any questions.
